"You've lost it again, all our efforts to make you better at your grades ain't working. I can't send you back to school not with the ongoing recession... " The words of Josh's father hit him hard like thunder splitting rock. Josh hasn't managed to scale through final exams at college despite all efforts of his parents to support him. Maggie has submitted her resume to upto 23 firms and
she's been home, down and out, wondering if she's ever gonna get a job in a society that hasn't been keen to offering job securities nor job opportunities.
These are a bit contemporary, let's go back millennia ago. When David and his men returned from a battle, they were hit with devastation having discovered that their homes were burned to the ground and their families taken away by the Amalekites. Imagine, when you've cried till you've got no tears left to shed. But God spoke to these brave men,  'Pursue... overtake... and...recover all' He assured these soldiers and with His help they did.  (get the full story in 1 Samuel 30).

Your situation may be worse than Josh's, or Maggie' or David's. Perhaps you're even tired of living. Now, it's ok to cry. We're humans, but what makes us brave humans is when we can dry up our tears and brace up like the soldiers and take back what the enemy has stolen from you. But you can't do this alone. Just like a soldier you need to be armed. The Devil is armed to his teeth and is ready to bite again if he notices you're without a weapon.

God's Word is weapon enough. It's necessary we draw from His strength if needs be inches at a time. Ephesians 6:10-18 explains better about these weapons. The shield happens to be an external defense weapon that guards the other defence weapons when utilized well. It is linked to Faith in the scriptures (vs16).

We've got to believe in God that He'll keep us from the fiery darts of the enemy. Paul writes in Galatians 6:9 > 'And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not'. (KJV). God won't quit on you, so don't quit on Him.

HE has promised you that 'When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.'(Isaiah 43:2 KJV). Don't give up, MARCH FORWARD SOLDIER. It's easier to quit but it takes faith to March on. With your Faith honoring God, He'll strengthen you and you'll stand tall and fearless as His dear and brave Soldier.

You can do it brother, you can win the battle sister. Just have faith and keep believing, God's gonna enable you when and how to pursue, overtake and recover what ever is lost, I don't care to know if it's your time, your happiness, your peace,  your finances, your loved ones. He still does amazing things.
Take this with you: Psalm 121.
God Bless You.
