WHAT GOSPEL DO YOU PREACH?
I have seen under the Sun, members and bodies spring up from the corners of the earth, claiming to be part of the Body of Christ. I have also seen folly deposited in the hearts of men by people who call themselves leaders, coated in the sweetness of Grace yet bearing the tastes of deceit and disgrace. I have seen the carnal cravings of the sinful leader, the lust of his eyes, the bragging and boasting of his heart without full acknowledgement of the Most Exalted one of Israel. They have unlearned that they are but a mist that appears and vanishes in a short while, also forgetting the world and its desires pass away.
I see a sea of godless flocks, scattered across the earth, a generation spoken about in times of old (2 Tim 3:1-9).
I have seen a generation of men who have burdened the hearts of Christ followers with their fleshly desires but have refused to make of themselves good models to be followed. (2 Thes 3:6-14).
I have seen men preach Christ in rivalry, envy, competition without sincerity and humility of heart, full of selfish ambitions. (Philippians 1:15). I have also seen vegetables (with bitter roots) planted as churches (Heb 12:14,15), and these have come preaching another gospel (Gal 1:6-10), pleasing men and forgetting of then impending curse. The essence of Christ's coming has been ruptured from being preached from the pulpits and the meaning of His Second coming, the rapture has lost its roots in the hearts of the pew.
To The Followers of Christ, those who earnestly seek Him.
Remain steadfast to the Faith.
1. But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. (2 Peter 2:1-3)
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. (Matthew 7:15)
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. (1 John 4:1).
To the Leaders, the Evangelists, Prophets, Pastors, Ministers, Appostles, Preachers and all who carry God's Word, (including myself), do not be tempted to go astray.
2. Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine.
3. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (2 Tim 4:2-4).
21. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Matthew 7:21-23).
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (Eph 6:10-18).
May our Spirits reflect godly values and may oil to our lamps never run dry as we shine God's Light even unto the end of time.
Amen!
Selah!
