So, you might ask, 'What actually is/are my major gifts and how can I discover them?'. Well, it's a good question any wise person should ask.
1) Seek God's Purpose: Now, this shouldn't sound so ambiguous. No body knows a product better than the producer. You never created yourself, and so there's no way you can know what you were created for. God can, and He will. James 1:5 says 'If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.'

God in His mercies gave you different grace and gifts to achieve just about anything, and certain things well and to excel you need to discover the major gifts and abilities and understand the minor ones to put them to work. Paul had a major gift... It's obvious he was renowned for his teaching abilities and his great achievements of church set ups. He also had minor ones. The Bible made mention he made tents to support his ministry (we could tell the importance of having something doing even as ministers, to meet family needs and support God's Kingdom).

2) Make the big decisions: As a toddler learning to walk, you sat and crawled more often than you did walk, but you succeeded. That's because you were born to walk! It is one thing to discover your major gifts, (easily or quickly), but it's another thing to commit for the long haul of developing them to their maximum potential. It's likened to a marathon not a sprint.

3) Feed Backs (from the right people): Asking others feedback isn't always easy, but it is essential to success. Never be too proud to seek help. But there's a caution, however: Choose people who have no agenda other than to help you and if you are a loner there's this part of the scripture we stumbled upon. ' 18:28 And there was no deliverer, because it was far from Zidon, and they had no business with any man;....' (Judges 18:28).
Take these to cognizance.

4:7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Ephesians
2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians
7:7 For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. 1 Corinthians

You've got that power in you... Allow God make you what He wants you to be. Amen.
